Take it to go!

Often times he goes from happy, laughing, sweet pumpkin head:
To whiny, tantrum-y, squint-y eyed-mean face boy:
All of the books in the world couldn't make him happy when six thirty
comes around and he's ready for bed.
On this particular day, we met Dustin for dinner after he got off of work. We enjoyed our drinks and appetizers until shit storm Conrad 2010 started raining on our restaurant parade. I get so tense and aggravated at restaurants, I've said this before. Especially around nap and bed times. So we got our dinner to go and took it home. When we got home, we turned on Signing Time and while the spawn was zoned out clapping and dancing in his high chair, we actually had a conversation, something that doesn't happen at restaurants when we're collecting sugar packets off the floor that had been launched across the room. He's such a sweet little child.....

I wore the dress that I won from rockstar diaries. The dress is from Shabby Apple and I love it. It has pockets and fits really well. I feel very french in this dress and scarf.
Scarf: Anthropologie (b-day gift from my mother in law's best friend April! Hi April! Thank you! Shoes: Mom's closet. She has the best shoes! Hi Mom, Love you!

  3. I use Mac pressed powder and physicians formula blush, Loreal mascara (telescopic) and not sure what lip stick I'm wearing. I have a bunch of different ones and pick a random one everyday.

    Thanks! You're very sweet.

  9. hi there! you've commented on my blog a few times, and I've been meaning to comment on yours for some time now... I added you to my link list and read yours regularly, because your blog is pretty much adorable. And so is your son. And so are you!! :)

seriously, your fashion sense, it kills me. You manage to dress and look the way I would love to look, but I somehow can't pull things together properly. But I love seeing people who can! hehe.

  10. Ah, restaurants with kids. So hard. My husband wants to take them anytime, anywhere. And I have to make myself because all I can think of is the screaming, spilled cups all over the table, and whinning to please let them put the knives in their mouth. If we do ever take them to restaurants I prefer lunch to dinner anytime.

As always, you look adorable. So fashionable and so pretty.
