This morning we met up with five other moms and their little ones for a play date at the pumpkin patch. The kids got to pet some goats, jump around in a bounce house and swing on the mechanical swings. They all had a blast. Afterwards we had lunch at Panera bread. Fall is my favorite season of them all. I love wearing warmer clothes, eating yummy comfort foods, and snuggling up on the couch with a big quilt and a cup of tea at the end of the day. Dustin just made some chili last night (He always likes to grind up his own peppers and make his own seasoning for the chili, which means that while he's using my coffee grinder to do so, the whole kitchen smells like chili seasoning and both of us are coughing up a lung, our eyes are watering and our nose hairs are singed off...I told him to go easy on the chili because if it's too hot, no one will be able to enjoy it and he's going up against 8 other chili cook off competitors at work today. He cleaned my grinder out really good last night so my coffee wouldn't be spicy this morning!) I made butternut squash soup this week and I can't wait to make some pumpkin cheese cake this weekend. Oh fall, how I love thee!
As we fed the goats, Conrad kept saying, "Bahhhhh-Bahhhhh!"
The goats made him very happy!
All of the kiddos in the bounce house.
The face plant picture makes me giggle a little.
He wasn't too sure about the swings at first.
{*I took photos of all of the other kiddos but wasn't sure if their mom's wanted them on the blog}
Happy Fall!
