The best night of his life:

We took Conrad to a little carnival this weekend. He stayed up way past his bed time, later than he's ever stayed up. He ate as much cotton candy as he wanted, had caramel from ear to ear by the time the night was over, got to ride on a ride by himself, and had his mind blown by the height and wonder of his first Farris wheel ride....I was cracking up at how crazy he was about it. He wasn't scared at all. He practically jumped out of my arms to get to the edge so he could look over. I about crapped my pants when I realized how high we were and how badly my son wanted to jump his little butt out. *(I have a really awesome photo of my toddler throwing a tantrum because he couldn't jump out. He's just a joy. Refer to the last photo in the series of photos....)  It was a night to remember. Adam & Sarah went to dinner at Spicy Pickle with us and then spent probably the last date night they've got before Isabella comes, with us. We all had a really great time.
  The kid loves his dad.
Conrad loves his auntie Sarah. She has a candy dish and dogs at her house, and she's really good at silly faces too!
Who wouldn't love auntie Sarah?!
Thank God they had a sign to remind us to keep our clothes on...
sharing his cotton candy with Adam.
{that guy on the right is pretty darn adorable.}
The little lips curled over the teeth get me. What a cutie.
I love how he's got his arm over the back of the car.
he rode the cars twice. I've never seen him so happy.
Or so pissed.... He really DID NOT want to get off of the Farris wheel.
{Hope you had a great weekend!}

  5. He was so excited! I love his face in the second picture. Kids really show the purest happiness. That's one of things I love most about being a parent. Every emotion it real.

  13. the view from the top of the ferris wheel seriously made me nervous. As if it wasn't over and done with and you both survived, obviously. Looks like fun! You always look so gorgeous--wish I had your fashion sense!

  16. I feel like such a jerk now. The fair was in town this past week, and.... we skipped it. Its just so hot out, and, I'd have to haul around ALL THREE kids, and... dangit.

    Your pictures are kind of like a kick in the ass, right now, haha.
