This little project took way longer than anticipated. 2 weekends to sand it (thank you Dustin!), the drawers took 4 coats of paint and sat on my balcony for 3 weeks
(I was too pregnant and tired to work on it!) and FINALLY this weekend we painted the rest of it.
Dresser: Free gift from a friend
Knobs: Hobby Lobby $3.50 each on sale
Paint: $25
We will likely use this dresser as a changing table since it is tall enough for that. I have a lamp that I'm going to put on it as well I think. I'm in the process of working on recovering the lamp shade for the lamp. (Pics of that project to come soon.)
I am in love with taxi cab yellow and black and white for the nursery.
I want to do something bright that a boy or a girl could appreciate.
I LOVE the knobs because they're big enough to be door handles.
Planning a baby's room can at times be very discouraging because everything is SO expensive, but doing little projects like this helps me remember that I can fill this baby's room with lovely touches without spending a lot of money.
